Brdge is an applied AI consultancy and venture builder. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, our enquiry and application forms, and our client and venture engagements, why we collect it, how we protect it, and the rights you have under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018 and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).
Who we are
Iden Ventures Ltd (“Brdge”, “we”, “us”) is a company registered in England and Wales and is the data controller for personal data processed through brdge.ai and its sub-brands (Enterprise, Launchpad, SearchX and the UK Innovator Founder Gateway). For anything in this policy, write to us at info@brdge.ai.
Personal data we collect
- Website enquiries. Name, work email, company, the Brdge division you select, and the message you send us through the contact form.
- Founder and programme applications. For Launchpad and the UK Innovator Founder Gateway: name, contact details, venture idea, stage, distribution advantage, prior background and any supporting materials you choose to share.
- Client engagement data. Names, business contact details and role information for people we work with on your side during an engagement. Where relevant, we may also process data you or your systems make available to us for the purpose of the work (for example, documents, datasets, product telemetry or interview transcripts). In most engagements we act as your data processor for that content, under a separate written agreement.
- Case study and testimonial content. Named quotes, headshots, logos and outcome metrics that a client has approved in writing for publication.
- Correspondence. Emails, calls and meeting notes with prospects, applicants, clients, partners and suppliers.
- Website analytics. Aggregated, privacy-respecting usage statistics (see “Cookies and analytics” below).
- Recruitment. If you apply to work with Brdge, the information in your CV, cover letter and any interview notes.
How we use personal data and our lawful bases
- To respond to enquiries and scope potential engagements — legitimate interests (responding to a business approach you have made) and, where relevant, steps prior to a contract.
- To evaluate applications for Launchpad, the UK Innovator Founder Gateway and other Brdge programmes — steps prior to a contract and legitimate interests.
- To deliver and manage engagements, including AI strategy, agentic and ML build, forward-deployed engineering, brand and product design, GTM and SEIS/EIS structuring — performance of a contract.
- To publish approved case studies, testimonials and portfolio content — your explicit consent.
- To send occasional insights or invitations to people who have asked to hear from us — consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- To operate, secure and improve this website, and to detect abuse — legitimate interests.
- To meet legal, regulatory, tax and accounting obligations — legal obligation.
AI, confidentiality and client materials
We take the confidentiality of client and applicant materials seriously. As a default:
- We do not use client data, applicant materials or engagement content to train third-party foundation models. Where we use AI tools inside an engagement, we use enterprise settings that disable training on your data, or we run models we control.
- Access to client materials is limited to the Brdge team members and named sub-processors working on the engagement, under written confidentiality obligations.
- Where an engagement involves personal data on your side (for example, employee, customer or patient data in an NHS or financial services context), we operate as your processor under a data processing agreement that reflects UK GDPR Article 28 and any sector-specific requirements you flag to us.
Cookies and analytics
We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand how the site is used at an aggregated level. Non-essential cookies and analytics are only set with your consent, which you can change or withdraw at any time via your browser or any consent banner shown on the site. Strictly necessary cookies required for the site to function do not require consent under PECR.
Sharing your data
We do not sell personal data. We share it only where necessary, and only with:
- Sub-processors and suppliers who help us run the business — for example, email, calendaring, cloud hosting, CRM, analytics, video hosting and communications tools — under written contracts that require appropriate security and confidentiality.
- Professional advisors (legal, accounting, tax) and insurers where reasonably needed.
- Public authorities, regulators or courts where we are required to do so by law.
- An acquirer, investor or successor entity if Brdge is involved in a corporate transaction, subject to equivalent protections.
International transfers
Some of our suppliers are based outside the UK. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, we rely on UK adequacy regulations, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses together with the UK Addendum, and we apply additional safeguards where needed.
How long we keep personal data
- Website enquiries: up to 24 months from your last interaction with us, unless we go on to work together.
- Programme applications: for the duration of the intake round and up to 24 months afterwards.
- Client engagement records: for the life of the engagement and for as long as we are required to keep them for legal, tax and regulatory reasons (typically 6 years after the engagement ends).
- Marketing consent lists: until you unsubscribe.
- Recruitment: up to 12 months for unsuccessful applicants, with your consent.
Security
We apply organisational and technical controls proportionate to the sensitivity of the data, including access controls, encryption in transit, principle-of-least-privilege, and vetted sub-processors. No system is perfectly secure; if we ever become aware of a breach that affects your rights, we will notify you and the ICO where required.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal. To exercise any right, email info@brdge.ai. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Children
Brdge is a business-to-business service. This site and our services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes to our services, our sub-processors or the law. The “Last updated” date at the top of the page shows when it last changed. Material changes will be flagged on the site.
